3G internet goes much slower

A week ago I upgraded from 3.1.3 to 4.0.1 with TU, and I noticed a decrease in the speed of my 3G internet. Before this upgrade, when downloading for example my iphone could download almost all the time at 130kb/s and now its maximum is 15kb/s and so I tried to fix this by downgrading to 4.0 to see if this worked, but it didnt.
after this fail, I tried downgrading to 3.1.3 again to see if this would finally fix this slow internet speed but its the same story.

Do you think that maybe when restoing, the backup I have has something wrong or somethinG?

Are you restoring from backup or setting up as new device?

I was restoring from backup.. what can I do to make it go at fast speed again?

it's always recommended to setup as new and not backup if the backup is from a jailbroken phone

I've had the same problem, despite restoring fresh. I'm fairly sure there's something buggy in thew 4.0.1 networking drivers.

well really, I restored a few times using TU my backup of my jailbroken phone trying to fix the slow internet conexion, but now that I know that I have to set it up as a new device, I have done it twice as a new device but the internet speed keeps on going slow.. I dont know what more to do.. I have done it to 4.0.1, Im going to try 3.1.3

If you set it up as a new device there's nothing you can do. That pretty much cleans up everything so, find a better place to use 3G, lol.

I wasn't having speed problems with my 3G, but my i4. I had a tech manager remove then put back my data service and that worked. You could try that.
