    Default iPhone 3G on 4.02

I am new to unlocking iPhones. I know the 3G can be downgraded. I plan on downgrading to 4.01 and the jailbreaking. What I want to know is that after the BB has been updated from 4.02, can I downgrade it so that it can be unlocked with the latest ultrasn0w?

4.0.2 didnt have a baseband upgrade. Redsn0w can jailbreak and ultrasn0w can unlock a iPhone 3G on 4.0.2 no problem. 4.1 is what you want to stay away from as far as baseband update.

Just an addition in case you werent aware, downgrading a 3G to 4.0 or 4.0.1 is only possible with SHSHs saved. To 3.1.x is possible without SHSHs.
