Should i Upgrade My jail broken 3g

I have a Jailbroken 3g that i have running on 3.1.3 should I upgrade to 4.2 and re jailbreak when the jailbreak comes out?

You can upgrade a 3G to 4.1 and jb with redsn0w but you will not be available to unlock it

Well I know I can do it but my real concern was gonna be if 4.1 was gonna bog it down or I should just leave it as it is?

You should try it, everyone is saying that 4.1 is faster, but if you rely on a unlock stay away

There are problems with JB on 4.1. Seems the early beta versions work ok but not on the final version.
