    Default iTunnel randomly disconnects?

On my iPhone 2G 3.1.3 I am attempting to run iTunnel9 and it works like a charm for a while.

Then suddenly out of the blue either USB or OpenSSH disconnects, especially when upload a file to the iPhone.

Then unless the iPhone is rebooted, it refuses to be contacted via USB SSH.

Is there a preference that may be off or a debug command?

This is a fresh install of 3.1.3 also.

This isn't just iTunnel, even Total Commander with T-PoT plugin has errors as well. Does it sound more like a computer driver problem or device itself?

EDIT: A complete Apple software/driver reinstall looked to work for a while longer than still stopped working after a while.

Figured it out, after iTunes did it, I knew.

It doesn't like the USB extension cable used by my work with my generic USB cable for iPod.

Seems like the official Apple cable with the extender seems to work.

Guess the fake cables just can't use extenders otherwise work perfectly.
