    Default Helpp on breaking iPhone 2g on 4.0.2os

    I had to restor my iPhone 2g and lost my jailbreak now it is on a 4.0.2nd how do I jailbreak this or downgrade so I can jailbreak it? Please help

    How can a 2g be restored to 4.0.2, I thought the latest firmware is 3.1.3 and no more support from apple.

    You cant be on iOS 4 with a 2G. Are you talking about the iPhone 3G?

    Or did you just go up to 3.1.3 via "upgrade" in iTunes?

    If it is a 2G, you must be on 3.1.3 . follow this guide :
