    Default iphone 3g from 2.2.1 to 4.0.1

    Hi all

    I my wifes iphone 3G and its on 2.2.1 and jailbroken and unlocked and all working fine.

    But as she is getting a bit behind the times i was wanting to upgrade her to 4.0.1 so i was wondering if i get a Stock 4.0.1 can i do the Shift restore to get it on her phone? then will jailbreakme.com jailbreak it ? and finally what is the unlock for this firmewear?

    Just go to iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials and click the red button that says jailbreak and unlock and follow the process.
