Question about Upgrading.
Alright sorry if this was already asked but I was just wondering; my dad has a jailbroken + unlocked iPhone 3G S on 3.0.1 and hes looking to upgrade to 4.0. Is their anyway that he can upgrading without losing his current apps/numbers/songs/etc.? Thanks in advance!

Apps, music can be synced back once you have restored your Iphone however all jailbroken apps from Cydia will have to be installed again.
You can restore to custom firmware made by either Snowbreeze 1.6.2 or 1.7 or Pwnage tools 4.0.1 to create iOS 4.0

Pkgbackup will reinstall packages gotten through cydia.
