Tricky question

I have a 3g 8gb wen I got it it had 4.0/4.0.1 shshs saved but I rolled it back to 3.1.2 blackrain jb but I can't save the shshs file gives me no option to not that it matters cause I can put ant firmware I want on with out any hassel but would just like to no if I can save it on 3.1.2 even though they are saved for 4.0/4.0.1

3g's only have shsh's for 4.0 and up. There aren't any to save for 3.1.2.
