Saving SHSH blobs.

Hi guys, sry if its already mentioned somewhere in the forum but its 2am and am at work, and honestly not thinking straight enough to check out my question. So here it goes.

Do you have to be jb to have shsh blobs saved? Or can i use tinyumbrella on a non jb phone (4.0.2) and shsh will still be saved on cydia, so when i do jb i have shsh saved there already ?
