I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 4 (4.0.1) through jailbreakme.com but the installation crashed in the process then I got a message to try again what I did, but it crashed again then what I did was turn off and on the iphone and I got stuck on apple's logo then I tried to reboot it and what happen was my iphone is now on recovery mode and iTunes in order to recover it has to upgrade it to 4.0.2....
I just want to bypass this logo because I already have the firmware 4.0.1 any help????

You can try using TinyUmbrella to kick you out of recovery mode. But you may have corrupted something...
The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

I had this problem. before my only solution was to restore with Itunes. will make you use 4.0.2 then you will have to wait for 4.1 JB as it didnt save the SHSH file

I didn't save the SHSH file neither but Babyblue Pimp is suggesting use tinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery mode..
did you try this before update your iphone to 4.0.2?
