Jailbreak with Blackra1nRC3 now at 3.1, don't use Pwnage tools

Note : To use custom firmware, the condition is your iphone must be jailbroken first , only then you can restore to custom firmware.

I think your best bet is to restore again to 3.1.3 and then jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.4, and then install Ultrasn0w to unlock.

if you are going to use a jailbreak other than custom firmware use redsn0w 0.9.4

I'm uploading a custom ipsw i made with sn0wbreeze I'll link it as soon as it uploads. it has custom boot logos though so you may not like it

Would it be possible to restore to 3.1.3 and JB this? If I understand Pwnage builds a custom ISPW correct? I need to down load Black Rain and/or Red Snow if not.

Great day! I know you all told me to use black-rain or red snow. But I used Pwnage tool again and jail broke the 3g on 3.1.3 and it worked.

Version 3.13 (7E18)
Modem Firmware 05.11.07

Another question, if I sell the phone should I worry about unlocking it?

Yea, jailbreak and unlock and someone will buy it and pay more for sure. If you unlock it you could also sell it to any other country that uses the same type of sim.
