Bricked iphone 4. URGENT

Hi. Got myself an iphone 4 32mb (supposed to be factory unlocked) and it was on 4.0.1 so I used jailbreakme.com and once it rebooted it got stuck on the apple logo.

So i done the DFU mode thing and itunes started to download 4.0.2 and once it finished nothing else happened. It didnt restore to 4.0.2 it just stayed on the apple logo with those 'lines' on top.

What can I do? BTW the phone has almost a dead battery and even after 1 hour of trying to charge it, it only charges enough to get on the stuck apple logo and its just a loop.

Any ideas?

did you try DFU mode again and then restore?

You definitely didn't have it in DFU mode if it had the pixel lined on top.

Was in DFU mode, all I had to do after itunes downloading 4.0.2 is just remove the iphone from sync cable, and put it into DFU mode again and restore.

i can assure you it was defo not in DFU mode if the lines where still there because a dfu restore totaly formats the phone you have only restored in recovery mode and the lines are still there dfu mode will give you a white screen during the restore process
