    Default restarting issue

I installed ischeduler and testing the functionaliy which seemed to work fine where I got a safe mode after the 2nd time i tested it. Then the reboots starting taking forever with the wheel spinning. I went ahead and restored to 4.0.1 and installed all of my other apps, but not it's still happening. The reboots are takeing for ever with the wheel spinning. I don't have ischeduler installed so I don't know if something else just starting have an issue for no reason. Any ideas?

after the restore all works well, but the phone takes forever to reboot. I get the apple and the spinning wheel and it finally boots. Any one else?

Any see where a reboot takes 3-5 min?

No one? From my findings today, it has to be an update that I recently got that is causing reboots to take forever. I have restored to 4.0.1 3 times today and the last time I installed my apps one at a time. Since I have legit apps, I would assume others might be having this issue. I am only using main stream apps and not too out of the ordinary. Any one having this? I haven't heard from anyone with a suggestion so WTF could be the issue?

Yeah, I'm on 3.1.3 but I had that spinning wheel and long boot too. I recently restored my ipod (not for that reason) and it's gone. I didn't have that app installed so it has to be something else (however, I test A LOT of apps, most of them not mainstream, lol).

So no one else is experiencing this? With 3 restores this weekend you'd think this would be fixed but it's not.

Are you restoring the phone as new, or loading from your backup? If you are loading your backup thats most likely the issue, restore the phone as new.

always as new. the first couple of times I used pkgbackup to restore my apps and was thinking it had something to do with it, but then did all my installs manually and had the same end result. Phone works fine, but reboots take forever to the point that something isn't right somewhere. It must've been an update to one of my apps like multiflow or something that was updated recently. Not looking into restoring again. I'll just wait for 4.1 to be released and JB and then restore again and hope for the best unless anyone has any idea what the issue may be. I recently purchased iblacklist but never had any issues like that with this app on 3.1.2 with my 3gs. Who know's?

Wait, so does it only take a long time after you install all your Cydia apps?

Well something is either not compatible, or something has to load during boot.

It would be something that I had that was recently updated

I guess no one has or is experiencing this. I'll go for restore number 4 this week. Maybe I'll go back to 4.0 and try it.

Me and my brother are also having restarting isses and the springboard crashing. We have iPhone 4 with iOS 4.0.1. This started since yesterday when we updated MYWI and Rock. I uninstalled Rock but the issue persists.

Yeap, i bought the 4.0 licence ($20.00). Tried to reinstall it a couple of times (along with Rock), but it makes my Facetime to cutoff after 1 minute on WIFI and 3G. I hope this get fixed, at least to my experience (my fiancee and brother included) Rock is giving stability issues. I love the GUI of Rock and MYWI and MY3G is the main reason we jailbreaked our phones but right now I had to unistall them.

Erase all settings and content from your Phone in general settings and restore and resync from new.

How is that different from restoring the phone from dl firmware via iTunes?

Tried reinstalling and the same odd delay on reboot

Yea, if you set up as new its will erase all content and settings. The only difference is most iphone 4 users will go into a boot loop.

But you could give it a try if nothing else works.

Lol. I could just tell you not to install all that stuff again. The jailbreakme jailbreak almost always gives me a longer boot screen, either because the jailbreak is at user level (which it is) or because there it too many background processes loading.

The problem seems to be the jailbreak and not the apps or the device.
