Resetting iphone 4?

I reset my iphone using the erase all content and settings option in general and now it has itunes logo. Does this mean i will have to upgrade to 4.0.2 or is the phone still on 4.0 like it was before i reset? and all i have to do is hook up to itunes and restore?

no upgrade is done with the iphone erase. Just plug in your phone and restore from backup.

Thanks for the reply. Also if I don't want to restore cuz I may upgrade to 32gb and would like to sell my 16gb can I just hook Up to iTunes and set up as new? Does it have to have my sim in it?

if you are going to sell it, just leave it as is and take your sim out. It's already activated so no worries there. I jailbroke and unlocked my last craigs list iphone and showed the guy it was on t-mobile right before I took the cash and my sim out.

The problem is that The phone has the iTunes logo on it right now so I'd like to be able to show someone it's runnin 4.0 and can be unlocked. So without restoring how can I do that?

Leave your sim in and connect to iTunes to activate, then jailbreak and sell it
