I bought a 3GS this morning with 3.1 firmware. From what I can tell its never been unlocked/JB (owner left all her info still on it). Is there any way to JB this thing right now? I can't upgrade the FW to anything except 4.0.2 which isn't gonna help obviously. Pwnage 4.0/Spirit/Blackra1n/JBme.com are all out because the FW is too old. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck but I figured I'd post in case I'm missing something. Let me know, thanks!
I don't think they ever released a jailbreak for 3.1, I believe it was done through pwnagetool which requires you to already be jailbroken so for now I'm pretty sure you will have to wait for 4.1 and hopefully it will be jailbroken
