i have an iphone4 running 4.0.1 an i want to save the SHSH before i do my jailbreak.
when open tinyumbrella its says that the device connected is iphone 4 4.0.1 (8A306). when i ask it to save my shshs says its done successfully. then when i display SHSH's it says iphone4 4.0.2 (8A400)...................why would it say 4.0.2 if the device is running 4.0.1?

You can only save SHSH for whatever apple is currently signing, in this case it'll be 4.0.2 only (regardless of what FW you are currently on) so there is no way to save 4.0.1.
oh ok that makes sense now. well ive jus jailbroken my iphone and im want to restore my 3gs back up. will this create a possiable problem or should i jus start from scratch and imput all my contacts manually?
