Cant hear callers thru ear but can hear on speaker after jailbreakme and Ultran0w

Hello fellow iPhone-ites!!!!!

Just got a 4 with iOs 4.0.1

Brand spankin new. JB with jailbreakme, UL with ultrans0w.

When making a call, the sound is barelyyyy audible when the phone is to my ear. However, I CAN hear and talk when speaker is on. Tried incoming and outgoing calls no go.

Here is what I have troubleshot.

• Uninstalled and reinstalled jailbreakme and ultras0w
• reset network settings
• enabled and disabled 3G
• on/off airplane mode

Still nothing. Speaker works, hearing and talking but can barelyyyyy hear and I mean FAINT on the ear part of the phone

No SHSH's saved as it cant be signed any longer.


Anyone got any ideas ?

Take the plastic screen protector off that came with the phone - it covers part of the speaker blocking the sound.
