Upgrade 3.1.3 to 4.0.0?

Hi, I've been looking into iOS 4 and now that more and more apps are requiring it, supporting it, etc,I had a few questions.

First, should I upgrade? Is it worth it for an ipt2g?

Second, how? I have my 4.0 SHSH blobs saved in Cydia, but how do I upgrade, so that I can still jailbreak? Thanks!

what device are you using? i have an ipod touch 2nd gen and i upgraded to 4.0 without shsh, and i am on a mc model. apple is still signing 4.0. and you cant restore/upgrade without having to rejailbreak.
to upgrade go here and download 4.0

then open itunes and put your phone in dfu mode
to get in dfu mode, open ituns, plug in device, turn it off, hold power and home for 10 seconds or until you hear a sound thru your speakers, then let go of power and only hold the home button until you get popup that says you are in recovery mode.
then press shift and click restore, then point to the 4.0 file you downloaded.
then to jailbreak on 4.0 go here, super easy
