    Default Restoring a 4.0.2 Backup file to a 4.0.1 iPhone4

    Hi Everyone,

I upgraded my iPhone4 to 4.0.2 (blobs saved for 4.0 & 4.0.1) as i did not want or need the jailbreak at the time.

Im toying with the idea of giving it a go and I have read up about the downgrade procedure and am happy with all that.

What i would like to know is once my phone is back on 4.0.1 will it accept the restore of my 4.0.2 backup (for sms, game saves etc)?

I know you cant between major versions but wasnt sure if it applied for x.0.x releases.

If wont work then i guess i'll have to wait for 4.1 Jailbreak as i doubt anyone is working on 4.0.2 as it only patched the pdf hole and is going to be superseeded in next week or two by 4.1 at the ipod event.

Any advice on this would be great.

    Thanks

it should work with no problems since as far as i know the only difference between 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 is the pdf patch
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.
