Well if this ain't a BITE in the ***** !!!!
Finally, I received my new iPhone 4 .. excited as I was, got everything ready to hammer the jailbreaking process in this new gadget.
Low and behold, what the H3LL
.. my new iPhone 4 came with iOS 4.0.2 pre-installed !!!!
So .. LOL, can someone tell me how I can get this back to iOS 4.0.1 so I can jailbreak .. or should I just wait for iOS 4.1.0 to be released and grab the next jailbreaking app for that one ?

Not sure. Maybe when during the next event. Which is supposed to be in early/mid Sept. New iPods get announced.

Shut up already, some apps don't make the plunge when a new firmware comes out, get over it. Maybe it'll make its way over someday, maybe it won't. If it's that big a deal, move down to 3.1.X, most apps (jb and appstore) support it anyways. I'm surprised you haven't been banned yet.
If I somehow helped you, press thanks

Um, are you kidding me? SnapTap, iStrings, Multifl0w, Iconoclasm, Shrink, Poof, No Undocked/No Docked Labels, and the many themes that are growing by the day. Sorry you missed out on the jailbreak, OP. The Dev Team are geniouses. A new jailbreak will be out eventually.

This is a huge blow to folks like me who just now decided to upgrade to the iPhone 4 but who rely on tethering apps like PDA Net MyWi. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have either bought sooner or wouldn't have bought at all. Now I'm stuck with an iPhone that doesn't do what I need it to do.

It may not be at once but these phones are high demand so bascially the ones people are getting are hot of the line most of the time.

I ordered mine off AT&T's website .. arrived Tuesday 8/24 .. came with iOS 4.0.2 pre-installed.
I guess its just a hit and miss in regards to what one you get, unless someone has stock left from the ORIGINAL shipment when they were first released .. any phone you get now from either AT&T or Apple will have iOS 4.0.2 installed.

I got a 16 GB from the Fort Worth, TX AT&T warehouse that shipped out on Tuesday which still had 4.0.1. Problem was...the camera was broken.
So now I have a 32 GB replacement en route from the same warehouse. Fingers are crossed that it'll also have 4.0.1. If not, my wife's 32 GB still has 4.0.1 and she's agreed to swap with me.
