About to jailbreak my IP 4

Before i go to jailbreakme.com on safari i just wanted to know what redsn0w and pwnage are. Are these different to jailbreakme is etc.
And which is the better.

Redsn0w and pwnage are for old bootrom devices. Jailbreakme is the only option for an iPhone 4.

and its untethered too. Meaning the jailbreak won't be gone when you on/off your phone.

I know all about not updating my phone and/ or itunes to keep it as it is.

Where do I go to back my phone up on itunes so if i need to go back etc. And also say in a couple of months the apps i have brought off itunes require updates thru the phone. Will this still be ok to do or not. Or will they get updated thru cydia.

Next question LOL. How do i change my themes when i have JB.

You can sync like normal with iTunes. You can update apps through iTunes or through the app store on the phone. Change themes with winterboard from cydia.

p.s. When you get jailbroken, be sure to hit the "make my life easier" button at the top of cydia.
