Can you use another shsh as your own?

My mom's iphone has 3.1.2 can I use her shsh for my phone? I'm guessing not since I haven't heard anyone speak of this. But I figued it was worth a question

Each phone has a unique ECID associated with it. That is what is keyed off of for the SHSH blobs. So, no you can't use anyone else's blobs.
