While trying to clear all the data off the phone, the phone reset and is now in a constant reboot loop.
It starts with the regular apple logo, then goes to the jailbroken apple logo with the rotating circle, then just locks up. I cannot turn the phone off with the power button. I can only shut it off by holding the power button and home button simultaneously.
I would perform a restore, but it appears that restoring will force an upgrade to 4.0.2 which is unjailbreakable.
I am in serious need of assistance. What can I do?
NEVER EVER hit the erase all settings button on a jailbroken phone EVER. You will have to restore to get it working again. Luckily for you apple is still signing 4.0.1. Just download it and shift+click restore to that fw.
