www.jailbreakme.com not working?

Hi, have an iPhone 3Gs on 4.0.1 which I downgraded from 4.0.2, and once going to Safari and entering the site says "Oops file recieved was invalid"

I tried deleted cache, cookies & history, turnnig airplane mode on, removing safari & settings from multitask and trying again but nothing, even a restore.

Any idea guys?

Search the forum tbh, lol, known issue mate, ensure your typing the full address JailbreakMe, other than that, just wait it out.

I have the same problem. tried this morning on a iphone 4, 4.01. get the same message. i have jailbroken 3 other iphone 4's about two weeks aga and worked fine. anyone know how to report this to comex. maybe jailbreak site got corrupted.

the jailbreakme site is down temporarily, something to do with the dns servers, be patient it will be back up soon

I believe the only solution to our common problem is to WAIT. It's a server problem and there is nothing we can do but to wait.

That would explain it then.

The wifes iPhone is the 4 on 4.0 and should be a piece of cake.

I kinda knew it had to be something like the server getting hammered.

other than refreshing this site every x-minutes (waiting for the 1st person to report success), is there any other way to know when JBMe.com is up and running once again? I can get to the FAQ page when I open the site via Internet Explorer....., but my device cannot get the download.

Well I dont know if its just me but I was able to get on Jailbreakme thru google search?? I just typed jailbreakme in the search bar and hit the first link for the website in the search criteria and it took me to the site??

The only thing now is that I dont if I should do the jailbreak since I saw this forum??

I have comcast as well, and I tried from my home wifi, and jailbreakme.com and jailbreakme.modmyi.com didn't work for me on iPhone4, running 4.0
