Wanting to upgrade from 3.1.3. to iOS 4.0 ONLY!

I dont think you understand. 4.0 doesnt just run poorly on a 3G, it runs awfully.

If youre really determined to go to 4.0, might as well go to 4.0.1. Apple is still signing that, you wont need SHSHs for that either. Its no different than 4.0, you can still jailbreak it with jailbreakme.

well for my 3G, it ran just as good as 3.1.2 ran.....

After a couple weeks youll probably change your mind. The slowdown will build up over time.

Like I said, go to 4.0.1 then if you dont like 3.1.x

Note: every phone is diff I suppose. But ive seen so many people ask how to get their 3G back down to 3.1.x. Just thought Id save you the trouble of going up and coming back down.
