Questions about jailbreak
Has anybody else had this issue?
I just jailbroke my iPhone, and installed a custom ringtone and changed the operator logo. Put on the custom Services.plist etc.
when I used iPhoneInterface, I had access to the System folder, Applications, etc. After I jailbroke my iPhone and made changes and then synced it with iTunes, it was de-jailbroken(?). Now, all I see is iTunes_Control and a few miscellaneous files. I can't get to the System folder to mod it further.
Is this normal? Are you supposed to jailbreak it and then have iTunes un-jailbreak it? Or is it permanent and I'm doing something wrong? Also, what's the command to get a copy of a file from the iPhone to your computer? Is it getfile? because I couldn't get that to work.
Thanks (I know there's a lot of questions there^^)

When you use jailbreak on the iPhone, you are opening write access to the full file system. However, then the iPhone cannot sync with iTunes. When you put the custom Services.plist back on the phone, you are relocking the phone, which also allows you to sync again.
So in essence, yah, you're ok.

So you're saying it's ok to repeat this process each time I want to modify something?
