wifi on iphone 3g 4.0.1

anytime that i am in Cydia my Wifi will diconnect adn then it will want the password again..... ill do that and then it will do it again..... and sometimes when im in the settings app, ill put in the password and it will keep popping up for me to put in the password..... does anyone have any suggestions????

4.0.1 for the 3G is not going to run as smooth as it does for the 3GS and Iphone4. My suggestion is this. If you backed up your shsh files, go back to 3.1.2 or 4.0 re jailbreak and see if this continues. If it does (which I don't think it will at 3.1.2) then you know that the ios 4.0 - 4.0.1 is causing the issue with the 3G iphone. Hopefully this helps you out.
