Occasional safe mode?
Every once in awhile I'll get an occasional safe mode after a reboot. This happened occasional as well with my 3GS. Is this normal? It's probably on every 10th or so reboot so I guess it's nothing to be worried about as s restart sets it straight. U?

No its not usual, its something crashing your iPhone, if you recently downloaded something and after that it's been making crashes go delete it right away from Cydia.

But that's it, all have downloaded and been fine immediately. There were a few things that did make it go into safe mode right away but did quickly remove them. All is working well but an occasional safe mode after a reboot every once I'm awhile.

Are you on IOS 4? because if you are check the compatibility list (Search it on Google) and check maybe the app u downloaded works but crashes you to safe mode.
If you are not on IOS 4 then I've got nothing except, remove all apps u downloaded from cydia then reboot if it seems to work and doesnt crash then redownload them one by one and reboot everytime xD
Or just restore (Make sure u have shsh saved) to 4.0.1 or whatever you want. Please press the Thanks button if I ever helped, you'd be helping me

Lockinfo and tunesfx are the only ones I got that aren't fully compatible on 4.0.1

But that's just it, it doesn't happen consistently. There is no pattern to it. Just random safe mode with the 10th or so reboot.

I don't know how much stuff you have installed, but if you have a lot of things that are always running (anything that doesn't have an icon) and you do something like turn on a theme and respring, sometimes I have expereicned my device going into safe mode. If you have a lot of stuff (and have your SHSH files) I wouls restore and only get what you need. And make sure it works on iOS 4 and the iPhone 4

I get an occasional residing and I would imagine it to be normal.yes I have had those apps that caused me to crash and remove the appimmdiately but even with compatible apps installed I get the occasional residing. As long as it's occasional I don't mind it so much
