Cydia "This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.01" What does this mean??
Hi
I see the following message in cydia when I open it:
"This device has SHSHs on file for iPhone OS/iOS 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.01"
Can anyone please let me know what this means? I currently have my iPhone 3GS jailbroken (with spirit) & unlocked on 3.1.3 firmware.
Thanks in advance

it means your safe to restore your firmware to any of them (in your case 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1)

yh means if you edit the hosts file you can go upto 4.0.1 which is good dont go to 4.0.2 as it isnt possable to jb yet.

just search in google, theres alot of guides, also you only ever need to do it if you plan on upgrading to 4.0.1 or downgrading to 3.1.3 again
