Wtf? 13GB when I have 16GB

How come I have 13GB only on my 16GB iPhone??

but it says I have 14GB under capacity but then on the bar below it says 2GB free and I added up my apps and music and they only equal up to 11GB so im only getting 13GB so wtf is wrong with that???!?

1GB is a lot for me.

You got to remmber about themes and odd files, and stuff you've downloaded that don't show up normally, unless your not jailbroken then I dunno..

when u have a 32 gb iphone u get 29gb u loose some when u have 8gb then you only have 7. dont worry this is normal.

because all hard drives are like that, (even SSD's which iPhones, iPod touch, and iPad use) its like if you buy a 1TB HDD, you only get roughly 979GB

Indeed, every drives formatting, as well as the firmware installed will take up quite a bit of space. As well as all the files that iTunbes doesn't recognize like your Cydia apps, themes, downloaded files, etc.

And I have 22.2GB more then you lol, but yeah like I've been saying no hard drive is the size it claims to be, also check cydia, gives a better idea how much space you have left
