Default Remove Multitasking from Touch 2g?

Hey guys question for you. I recently jailbroke and when given the option on my computer, i checked the box "enable multitasking" (same place you check "install cydia") Now that I've gotten accustomed to it I realize that this was a bad idea (I read that you should uncheck it but was stubborn) I like backgrounder and I'd like to only have apps run in the background when I tell them to. Is there any way to do this?

Yes simply redo that step, go to redsn0w or whatever jailbreak tool, click remove multitask, and restore your iPod with that firmware, it should do the trick. Or if you want 4.0 just update then use jailbreakme.com it doesn't give the multitask option for iPod, I have one and it doesn't have Apples multi, but check if bacgrounder works with 4.0

SSH into the N72AP.plist file located in springboard.app and find <key>multitasking<key>
    </true> change true to false.
