Jailbroken...now what!?
Hi all,
I have just JailBroken my iPhone 3GS running ios4 by using JailBreakMe.com
The problem however is I'm completely new to jailbreaking and don't know what to do next? Is there a tutorial or guide anywhere advising the best apps to get, how to get free apps, how to unlock etc?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

open cydia, let it update, then go to the sections tab and start from there, i am not aware of a tutorial or guide on what apps to get, i would start with openssh and sbsettings (use the search function on this forum to find out what they and what they do), then for themes you will need to get winterboard....good luck and welcome to iphone freedom

p.s. if by free apps you mean pirated/warez apps, discussion of that is not allowed on this forum so you will not get any help with that, sorryLast edited by j3st3r; 08-07-2010 at 02:35 AM.
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.

Ultrasn0w and I recommend MyWi because it comes in handy when you don't have wifi

This is a good question, which many people have. My whole website is focused on telling people all the best apps for their jailbroken device. Check it out at http://www.iKorin.tk/ and click the "App list" link in the nav bar for a full list. Although, I recommend starting from the oldest post and going forward
