How do I jailbreak after updating to 4.0.1 on a 3G?

Hello all.

I bricked my iphone 3G with the jailbreak 3.1.3. using sn0wbreeze when the first 3.1.3 update came out. Like it worked up till today when I screwed with some of my packages and I had to update to the 4.0.1 so I could restore because the iphone wouldn't restart.

I'm thinking I'll have to follow the guide that says I will have to use F0recast. "How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS to 4.0 with Sn0wbreeze | Windows"

However, when I download F0recast I'm getting a windows thing popping up saying it encountered a problem and has to send info to get it fixed. (Forget that)

Can someone explain what I'm going to have to do. Like some how get back to 3.1.3 on a 3G and then jailbreak 4.0.x..... any one help with this?

Go to jailbreakme.com and "slide to jailbreak". Much easier than any other jailbreak. That's it.

As posted above me. Backup your phone in iTunes and then navigate to Jailbreakme.com in safari on your phone. Slide To Unlock on the webpage and you are done.
