Hey guys i have an old bootrom 3GS which is running a pwned ipsw and its running good, the issue is that i feel it is a bit slow in performance, and battery drains A LOT. The phone is always hot and the battery goes down from 100 to 0 in less than a day.
The Q is, is jailbreakme a lighter type of jailbreak that could fix my battery issues? (ps i have no issues on any official firmware,seems like JB is the problem)
ohh and i have 3.1 until 4.01 hashes saved, so i can restore and pwn with blackra1n anytime if i dont like Comex's

Battery issues usually stem from restoring from back-up in iTunes. I suggest building a new custom firmware... restore.. then set up as new in iTunes. Pwnage is a MUCH lower level and cleaner jailbreak.
Not sure if it will help, but can't hurt to try right. You say you have your SHSH backed up so you can always go back to being pwned. Although given the preference I have to agree with Poseidon79.
