Terrible reception and data connection any one know a fix?

Anyone else on a 3gs having problems with data and reception after the jailbreak and 4.01

Reception issues
I turned off spotlight but i still get 1 bar everywhere i go...

Data issues
at work where I used to be at full strength and dl speeds of 1.5 mpbs i now get .1 or .4 mpbs

and cant complete a call or send a text

also get buzzing feedback radio interference with my speakers like before 3g

any clue how to fix this?

Not sure of a fix but I have noticed a decrease in signal after upgrading to 4.0.1 due to the new "signal algorithm" but I still get good call quality and can send messages fine. I think overall the reception is the same it just "looks" worse because previously your bars were not reflecting your actual signal strength. Have you tried resetting your network settings? that seems to boost it slightly in my experience...

I remembering reading that the signal bars were misleading but the issue I am having is different

I have NO data connection over 3G none

Places where my service was stellar is, I have no service now

It's to the point I'm thinking about dropping AT&T altogether

I need a fix asap

I have several people in my office with the same problem is happening with them I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do...I was hoping the jb and 3G unrestricter would correct the issue but it has not

I have to turn off 3G to get any signal at all
