    Default iPhone 3GS 3.0.1 FW

    hi,

    i have an iphone 3gs on 3.0.1 FW bootloader 06.04 and baseband 04.26.08.

    My question, if i upgrade to 3.1.3 or 4.0-4.0.1 FW using itunes will be i able to JB and unlock my iphone? will it flash bootloader and baseband after upgrade?

    It will flash both baseband and bootloader, but you will be able to jailbreak and unlock once you have reached 4.0.1. However, before upgrading, SAVE YOUR SHSH BLOBS just in case you ever need to downgrade. Once you are on 4.0.1, just go to jailbreakme.com on your iphone and slide the slide to jailbreak slider and you are now a happy camper!

    PS: what baseband and bootlaoder i will have after i upgrade to 4.0.1???

    PSS: yes ive camped dor long time and i dont wanna messed up my phone if u r not sure pls dont make me do that)) lol

    Plus i have saved my SHSH in cydia up to 4.0.1 FW.
