Will syncing with iTunes be the wrong thing to do?

So I've had my iphone 3gs for about 4 months now and yesterday I decided to jb it via jailbreakme . The jb went just fine. For testing purposes. I also tried restoring it, which was a little nerve-racking since iTunes gave me errors a couple times.

At this point it is jb again as I'm more comfortable with it, and I've browsed various iphone websites but can't really find the answer...

Is it safe to sync the jb'd phone with iTunes? (another post on here makes me think no because he lost his cydia/rock apps)

It's my understanding that the sync doesn't do a restore, correct?

If it is not, is there another utility that will sync everything that iTunes is capable of syncing?

Yes it's safe to sync with iTunes. Just stay away from the restore button. Lol
