error in cydia

Hi i have just jailbroken my phone and when ever using cydia i get an error saying
"error:refreshing data
failed to fetch......


some files index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or ones used instead"

any ideas guys?

Yes the repo is currently down, you can still download from other repo's or if you need that repo specifically wait a while and try again.

Actually, the only time I have encountered this is right after jailbreaking someone, before installing the initial updates. Go to the updates tab in Cydia, and the at top right there is Update All. Tap that and you will be all set! Have a nice day!
