    Default Removing a source

    Hi,

I added a source recently and now whenever i try to refresh packages i get a few errors related to this source - its also not in my source list so that I can remove it.

    Any Ideas?

I don't know it it'd work but I would try to add the source again, then hopefully you can delete it.

I tried that but the source doesn't really add properly, it just hangs at the "verifying" stage for awhile with the wheel

you need to remove this source from /private/var/lib/apt/lists.... also in metadata.plist in private/var/lib/cydia
then try to add it again make sure you entering url correctly

I tried with notepad but it just came up as random junk

There's actually nothing with the name of the repo in that plist file anymore

    Cyfix. Google for proper instructions

Cyfix always worked flawlessly for me.

    This worked, thanks!

"SSH into your iPhone to the following location/etc/apt/sources.list.d There you will find a file called cydia.list. Copy that file onto your Mac/PC

    On your computer:

Keep the original and make another copy of that file. Open the copy and delete the line of text that is in reference to the source you experiencing problems with. Save and replace the file in your phone with the new one. Reboot the device and check to see that the errors are gone in Cydia. "
