Cydia upgrades - Error?

I'm receiving a push notification to upgrade 2 packages in cydia, when I hit the upgrade button I receive a message saying :

Removing Essentials
This operation involves the removal of one or more packages that are required for the continued operation of either Cydia or iPhoneOS. If you continue, you may not be able to use Cydia to repair any damage.

Cancel Operation (Safe)
Force Removal (Unsafe)

The packages are:
UIKit Tools
VIP Source Icon

Is it safe to upgrade those packages or what?

I did and nothing happend. Proceed at your own risk as I'm not saying nothing will happen to you
