iphone "usb device not recognized"

i am attacing an iphone 3g to pc. the iphone is not recognised as a device. the phone charges properly with adapter but not with pc. i have changed connecting cable and usb port.apple mobile device service is also working (automatic, started
)i have cleaned cable connector what could be the problem

Is it only on that computer?

Check on another computer, maybe it is the computer that is not recognizing it, not the Iphones problem.

Hmmm.... What did you do before it stopped working?

Did you download something that may have caused this?

problem solved by changing charging flex cable
