Help Please! Iphone 3gs

Hi,

I have an Iphone 3Gs through AT&T. My version is 3.1.2 (7D11) and my firmware is 05.11.07. I recently JBed it through blackra1n. Now here's the problem, my phone froze and I had to restart it. It showed the USB -> Itunes screen, so I JBed it again to gain access to my phone. How do I get around this? I dont want to have to JB my phone again if I have to use it during an emergency and my phone just happens to freeze and restart... I tried to restore to a previous firmware, to be able to reJB it but Itunes says my device is ineligible. I have no idea what the whole Cydia backing up your ID thing is so... school me please.

If I HAVE to upgrade to 3.1.3 I will, but if I don't have to I will try my best to stay 3.1.2.

Sounds like you have a newer 3GS which requires a tethered jailbreak. With a tethered jailbreak you will have to run blackra1n on every reboot. There is no way around it

There's no way around it? Damn, I really regret accidently upgdating to 3.1.2..

So the only solution is to upgrade to 3.1.3 UNLESS i want to reJB everytime correct?

Hi mates;
To recover from recovery mode (itunes icon and cable icons) use redsn0w .94
it will fix the boot and u wont lose any data like musik or apps etc......

i have done it many times and works for me, hope it will help good luck
