The Apple Store Restored my Iphone - I'm lost

I have a jailbroken 3g iphone that was running on 3.0. It's with Tmobile. I've never had AT&T.

The phone was dropping calls, so I took it to the Apple Store hoping they'd replace it. Come to find out it had a small amount of water damage and they wouldn't help.

My issue is, the "Genius" plugged my phone into his iTunes and restored it. Now its on the 3.1.2 version and with 05.11.07 firmware. From my understand, this can't be jailbroken. I wanted to kick that Genius in the head! Does anyone have any suggestions?

U can jailbreak and unlock it
go to blackweather and download it. Then connect ur iPhone and run blackra1n. When it reboots install cydia from the blackra1n that'll be on ur springboard (for jailbreak) and. Blacksn0w (for unlock)

It's not the latest firmware that's the issue but the latest phones with the new iboot that have problems.
