Default Access File System in DFU mode?

Hi, I have an iphone 3G, but after several apps installed it hanged and restarted, and now it just loops with the apple logo and shuts off after 10 seconds or so.

I want to backup my contacts notes and stuff, is there a way to acces the file system? The only way the iphone keeps on is when its in DFU mode, but ifunbox doesnt find it...

I hope there is a chance to recover my files...

You are getting your iPhone vocabulary mixed up. In DFU mode the screen is completely black and registers nothing. You possibly mean recovery mode where the screen has the connect to iTunes logo on it. If the phone is in an endless reboot loop you can't get info off of it... you'll have to restore.

Hi - I was hoping you may have come across a way to access the files on your iPhone. Mine is currently shutting off during the boot process. I see the Apple logo for a few seconds and then it shuts off. I desperately need to get some pictures off. They are pictures I will never be able to replace. I am currently trying to kill the battery and then try booting it up with Blackra1n since I read that in another forum. Unfortunately, when this all happened my battery was over 90% charged. I can get it into recovery mode but I can't get the files off. I have tried DFU, etc. I really hope you have found a way to get files off of your iPhone (mine is a 3GS if that makes any difference).

    Thank you!

    Jim
