    Question Will my iPhone 3G brick if I upgrade to 3.1.2?

    I don't care if my iPhone stays jailbroken, but my first iPhone bricked when I restored it and deleted the cydia and winterboard apps.

    How do I successfully install 3.1.2? I don't know the difference between getting updates and restoring.

    i updated my wife's 3G with itunes to 3.1.2 the jailbroke it with blackrain only took a few min....
