Unhappy Can't jailbreak!!!!! No fun /:(

    Hey.
I have 2 iPhone 3gs that were jailbroken previously using blackra1n.... It worked parfectly and everything was ok. One of the however (mine) one random day decided to stairt draining the battery and got really really hot. I restored it right away. I tried jailbreaking it againg after the restore I click on the famous "make it ra1n" button... It seems to work!, the iPhone goes into recovery mode. 15 seconds later blackra1n tells me the jb is done! But my iPhone is still on the picture of the cable and iTunes (recovery mode). I wait for the reboot.... Nothing. I wait for an hour... Nothing. Then I reset my phone myself and it's still in recovery mode so I hbe to restore againg from iTunes

Please help as I have tried this 4 times getting the same results. I tried pwnage tool but iTunes gives me error 2001/1605. I don't kno what to do.

Note: my 3gs does not have an iboot rom as it was made on the29th week (I checked the serial) I updated to fw 3.1.2 (stupid mistake) but I should still be able to jb using blackra1n
plase help. An unhacked iPhone is nooo fun. /

when blackra1n hangs, close blackra1n, unplug your phone and re-plug it in. restart Blackra1n and do it again.

Go to /user/library/itunes/device support and delete the file in there first. Next build a new firmware with pwnage tool and then at the end click no.. your device has not been pwned before. Every time I restore to a custom ipsw I have to go through this process to avoid the error 2001/1605 loop.

I had the same issue and what worked for me was switching the usb connection from the front of the pc to the back.
