Help Urgent iPhone Bricked Won't go into DFU or Recovery

I tried installing AppSync for 3.1. During install it gave messages that it couldn't install. After this my iPhone quit showing up in iTunes. I rebooted it and it froze in reboot. Now it will not go past Apple Logo when trying to turn on, and I have had zero luck in getting into DFU or Recovery Mode and am so desperate I am shaking. Please help fast.

Just hold the power and home down for a long time longer then you would any other time also reboot your pc, its not bricked happen to me. just keep trying

Are you really on 3.1 or 3.1.2? There should be an Appsync version for 3.1.2

Sux tho. Hopefully the app you we're installing for is worth the nervous trembles.
