I am in no need of new blacksnow unlock, but read that *with blackra1n rc 3 u can enable tethering . How am I supposed to go about doing this since am on rc 1 ? Am I supposed to do clean restore and rejailbreak using rc 3 ? the only thing I had done is open the blackra1n app on my springboard and updated it and the blacksnow thing appeared instead of icy. Please help?

I did a clean restore this morning and used RC3 so im not entirely sure if you can go to: help.BenM.at <-- and just install a local Mobilconfig like in 3.0 (this is supposed to work according to Geohots blog and its what I did after using RC3 so it does work). If that doesn't work just add the SinfuliPhone repo to your sources in Cydia and search for Tethering. They have a nice little package that worked for me before. If THAT doesnt work, install the trial of MyWi, restart your iPhone, ensure thats its enabled in the Network settings, and then uninstall MyWi. The settings will still be there. Ive tried all three with success.

I too went ahead and did a clean restore and then jailbroke with blackra1n rc3. I then installed help.BenM.at and rebooted. Checked under settings>network and doesn't show a tethering section, only shows the help.BenM.at profile installed. I had tethering back in 3.0 fw through help.BenM.at and it installed perfectly. Well I will try the sinfuliphone and see if any luck. Any other suggestions?

I installed the sinfuliphone tethering package, rebooted, reset network settings , I see there is now cellular data network under settings >network with the apn settings but I don't see anything where you can turn tether on/off as I used to when I was jailbroke with redsnow And help.BenT.at
