I am trying to jailbreak a 2g iphone running on 3.1.2 firmware. I restored it to 3.1.2 and now it says i have to put a sim in to activate. I have an att sim, but it's not an active line. My goal is to jailbreak and unlock the phone. Can this be achieved without an active sim? How would one go about this?
