Best Method and way to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.0.1??

What is the best method to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS in which you would recommend and can supply me with link t download and procedure. All your help is greatly appreciated, my main question and concern is my current iPhone 3GS with 3.0.1 has never been jailbroken in anyway. I have got my iPhone with 3.0. Once I jailbreak my device will I be able to upgrade to future upgrades and will it brick my iPhone, and void my warrenty. If I have to bring my device for service to apple would I be able to restore to say 3.0.1 or since you can't restore if I upgrade or restore to latest firmware. My phone will no longer be jailbroken and I can then bring it in for service correct? Thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it!!!

Windows=Use Redsn0w. Google>dev-team>left module>redsn0w>download. Need 3.0 ipsw. Download it from modmyi in downloads section.

Jailbreak does not hinder upgrades. It won't brick your phone. People who brick their phones don't follow directions right or make too many mistakes. If you're not one of those people then it'll be fine.

Jailbreaking automatically voids your warranty. If you want something fixed by Apple, restore to remove the jailbreak and make it look like it wasn't tampered with. 3GS cannot be restored anymore from 3.0 so if you make a mistake you're F'd. You will be forced to upgrade and if you need an unlock, you'll lose it. If you don't need an unlock, you will go up to 3.1.2 and be fine.
